We went to the beach yesterday. It was a mild day compared to only 3 days prior when the schools were closed due to icy road conditions. In fact, school was cancelled for 3 days! For us in this area, it was referred to as an ice storm. Even so, it turned our world white and beautiful and was worth it to see even if it brought on a bit of cabin fever what with the roads too slippery for a southerner to go driving on and every business closed. So, the weather changes here as much as a 43 year old pre-menopausal woman's mood and with that, we skipped off to say hello to the waves, the seagulls, te seashells, the boardwalk.
