The girls and I began Spring Break with a trip to Shelton Herb Farm in order to get some plants for our garden-to-be. It's located off of HWY 17 and used to be a regular stop of mine when we used to live out that way. It has a peaceful, farm style feel to it. I could live there.
It was perfect timing because everything was in bloom. The azaleas, dogwoods, wisteria.
I wanted to get some of their basil because they usually have some cool kinds like lemon or lime.
We also found some lavender and rosemary.
That's a lot of wound healing!
We paid the nice lady and chatted with her about that big highway they're building too close her nice, quiet place :(
when we thought we heard a turkey! Yes, we did! Phillip, the turkey to be exact! The chase was on.
Here he is with his guineas.
He actually loved the attention.
I have mixed feelings about Phillip. He's pretty in a way.
But, I'm still looking forward to my thanksgiving dinner. Sorry, Phillip.
