I thought I'd share this lovely picture of my grandmother Ruby Jackson Holliday, my mom's mother. It was taken down at Carolina Beach at best we can guess around 1940. She was about 17 here my mom says. She passed away when I was 2 but my mom as done a great job of keeping her memory alive by sharing stories about her and then my daughter is carrying her memory on in her name.
